HR Site Manager (m/f/d) Change Management

Solvay is among the world leaders in composite materials, recognized by its customers as a consistently successful innovator and provider of high-performance and value-added solutions. In the fast-growing composite materials sector, which represents two thirds of its sales, its principal market is primary and secondary structures for aircrafts. For our site in Östringen (Heidelberg area) we are looking for a HR Manager (m/f/d) to join the site Leadership team at an exciting time. 


Job Description

  • As part of the Site Leadership Team provide thought leadership to create the appropriate people strategies to help deliver the site objectives using best practice approaches while being in full alignment with business unit and corporate approaches
  • Lead all local HR activities in Östringen and deliver professional HR services to the site
  • Analyze the organization, extract HR-related topics and set up a change management strategies where needed
  • Be a leader, a coach and a role model for all parties affected and thus ensure cooperation and support for your projects
  • Lead, coach and develop a small HR team
  • Promote the Solvay Culture, values and key behaviors. 
  • Attract, develop and retain talent in cooperation with GBU (Global Business Unit) HR and Solvay experts

Profile

  • You have an Academic Degree, or equivalent
  • You have developed a leader personality through several years of Site HR experience in a manufacturing environment. With significant resilience you have been successful in realignment projects resulting in a flexible, engaged organization 
  • You gained excellent knowledge of the German labor law and extended experience in interacting with the workers council
  • Change management is one of your strong points and you have a strong personal drive for results
  • You acquired considerable commercial awareness and business acumen
  • You have highly developed communication and influencing skills
  • You are fluent both in English and in German
