HR Specialist - IT Systems & Projects (m/f/d)

The HR Specialist – HR IT Systems & Projects will be part of the HR team in the Brenntag Holding GmbH, the Holding for our EMEA region. Embedded in a global HR organization and strategy, this expanding HR team functionally leads the HR activities in the Brenntag EMEA region, closely cooperating with the local HR Teams.


Your tasks

  • Implementation of the HR IT-System for EMEA region including testing, documentation, and training
  • Support and leadership of the EMEA sub-regions in implementing the system, transferring data, and linking other technical solutions
  • Be EMEA-focal point for HRIS security, user Groups, and permissions; ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Supply of HR-IT system expertise, oversight, training, and operational support to the EMEA subregions and Holding
  • Interaction with HR Process Owners, Global HR IT System Administrators, as well as with the own counterparts
  • Development and provision of HR reporting and dashboards
  • Identification of new trends in digital HR processes / tools, piloting new formats
  • Pre-selection and steering of external service providers


Your profile

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree, or comparable academic background
  • Sound experience in administration and configuration of (HR) systems, including business requirements definition, system analysis, testing, role-based security provisioning, and systems documentation
  • Good knowledge of cross-functional HR business processes and self-perception as partner to the business and within HR EMEA community
  • Experienced in building up reporting structures and dashboards
  • Interest in gaining expertise in new HR topics and broadening own professional and personal profile as well as in finding new digital HR solutions, their evaluation and implementation
  • Due to the international nature of this role, excellent English language skills (verbal and written). Skills in other languages are a plus
  • Comfortable with occasional international travel
