Talent Acquisition Specialist (m/f)

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for all recruitment for our businesses in the DACH region as well as other ad-hoc projects in other EU locations; they will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process from validating the job description with the Hiring Manager through to gathering all information for the job offer. He or she will consult with the business to provide market information, obtain resource plans and devise sourcing strategies including self-sourcing.

Key activities:

  • You will recruit for permanent and interim requisitions in line with company policy within the DACH region but predominantly for Rüsselsheim and Potsdam locations
  • One major initiative is to recruit at all levels for a brand new business initiative “Opel Leasing” being launched in Germany; you will liaise with the HR partner for Leasing and the Managing Director to strategically grow the business from the bottom up
  • You will liaise with stakeholders at all levels across international operations and use own initiative to prioritise workloads
  • Qualifying vacancy with Hiring Manager, define sourcing strategy, shortlist suitable candidates, arrange interviews, debrief with Hiring Manager, inform unsuccessful candidates, through to preparing offer information for HR
  • You will be in control of all advertising channels, all agency relationships and be the champion of the companys career site
  • You will act as an internal Consultant to the stakeholders advising and supporting on all matters to do with talent management
  • You will work closely with HR operations to manage entire HR recruitment processes
  • You will update all systems, files and reports in a timely fashion, service requests for information
  • You will facilitate and deliver HR ‘company’ systems, processes and procedures e.g. recruitment systems, tracking, assessment and recruitment processes, legal policies, etc.
  • You will be actively involved in strategic TA projects and development / implementation of best practice
  • You use a demand plan to build candidate pipeline using various channels
  • You identify your training needs to ensure we can continually improve the service offerings
  • You support the Global Head of Talent as requested

Skills:

  • Graduate caliber or equivalent experience
  • Ideally 3-5 years onsite / in-house recruitment experience
  • A proven self-starter
  • Excellent communication / relationship building skills
  • We are seeking an ambitious individual who owns the outcome and is a team player
  • You must be well organized and can deal with conflicting priorities
  • You can self-source candidates, qualify candidates, shortlist and interview
  • Ideally, you will have experience in managing multiple tasks across the business
  • You have experience in recruiting through subscription based products such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • You have experience in operating in a large, complex and changing environment
  • You are commercially aware and able to contribute credibly as a member of our Talent Acquisition team
  • You have prior experience in using an applicant tracking system
  • You must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • You have experience in managing relationships with third party suppliers
  • You are prepared to travel within Germany
